how does it look?

presentation of your art work

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

All paintings arrive ready to hang without a frame. I am very happy for framing to be arranged before shipping, at an extra cost to the buyer. Please be aware this will also extend the time for delivery. In some cases paintings are already framed, this is stated with the painting accordingly and the framing cost is already included.

placing an order

At this present time, orders are made through the email address [email protected]

Here we will discuss your purchase, shipping/collection arrangements and framing if required I will then invoice you accordingly. On receipt of cleared payment the item will be shipped to you.

Making a safe payment

Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Shipping a safe delivery

Your painting will be packed and shipped within 5 working days of payment clearing. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total.

Orders that include additional framing will take longer to deliver.

If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

a personal collection/delivery

If you are local to DE74 (UK Postcode) you might like to collect your painting, or it may be possible to arrange a personally delivery to you from my studio address. We can discuss this option via email at [email protected].

Specialist delivery – extra large artworks

Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually from couriers. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched.

International shipping

I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

a special note for e.u customers

Currently it’s not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers. As I don’t want you to have unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling charges currently being levied I have temporarily removed EU countries from my shipping list.

BUT – if there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do please email me. We just don’t want surprises!

Sustainability Matters

As a sustainable artist, I carefully endeavour to ensure the highest quality sustainable and ethical solutions to all parts of my work and working processes. Shipment of your art work is a very important part of my approach, ensuring sustainability high quality security and safety.

The are the following measures in place for this.

  • All packaging is recycled/repurposed, is recyclable by you, or can be repurposed accordingly.
  • Green options for shipping are quoted.
  • A personal collection service is offered.
  • A personal delivery service is offered, which combines with existing commutes and journeys.
  • Communication and payment is electronic. If hard copy communication is used, this is kept to a minimum and utilises recyclable processes and resources.
  • Fairtrade, ethically sourced materials are used whenever it is possible
  • I continually research improved processes to increase the sustainability of shipping.
