Description
Background story:
Reclaimed wood (birch ply) rescued from a fly-tipped dump in a local village. Black bin-liners of children’s clothes, toys, books, even a cot and car seat abandoned on a piece of waste land used as a makeshift car park. Amongst this refuse was a complete wooden toy garage, c. 1990, beyond repair – but perfect to reclaim for mini paintings, including this little homage to the magnificence, mystery and beauty of the Callanish Stones.
